Precision Manufactured Products
In 1978 Comptech was formed as a precision Engine rebuilding Company Specializing in Porsche Mercedes and BMW automobiles. At the same time we became involved in motorsports by designing, preparing and campaigning cars in Road racing. Winning multiple national championships Comptech became involved with Several different Automotive Manufacturers subcontracting Comptech to run several different types of Development and Racing programs with Renault Jeep Sport, American Honda, Acura, General Motors, Toyota and Saturn.
While working for American Honda and Acura, Comptech Programs won the prestigious 24 hours of Daytona, 12 hours of Sebring, 10 National Driver Championships and 5 manufacturer Championships. Comptech also ran the development test team for Honda on their Indycar Engine program.
Later working for General Motors Comptech designed and manufactured Components leading to having 16 different cars qualified for the 1999 Indy 500 garnering the Pole and leading until the driver crashed. In 2000 Comptech parts were in the field again winning the Pole and winning the race. At the same time Comptech has done work for a diverse cliental from watersports to Medical products.
In 2004 Comptech Purchased the SkySki Hydrofoil company and relocated it to Redding bringing all Manufacturing In House.
Throughout our 30 year history the thing that made Comptech successful was the attention to detail and pride in doing the best job possible for every customer regardless of the size or scope of the project.
